Mr. Tommy Battle, 60, was born to the late Mr. James Battle and Jeanette Battle, on Tuesday, August 29, 1961. Mr. Battle attended Chauncey Elementary School and Dodge County High School.
At an early age, Mr. Battle began working at Americord until the closure of the facility. He enjoyed talking and speaking to everyone. He walked daily as he sang his praises to God. He loved to watch wrestling and imitating his favorite WWE icon Ric Flair as “Nature Boy”.
Mr. Battle passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Willie Hendricks and Mitchell Battle, by brother-in-law, Albert Dupree, and by a nephew, Quentin Battle.
He leaves to cherish his loving family including his siblings, Joanne Beal of Elmira, New York, Unita (John) Bailey of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Diane Dupree of Chauncey, Georgia, Nellie (Alfred) Battle of Eastman, Georgia, Arlene Battle of Eastman, Georgia, Ella (Herman) Ivey of Eastman, Georgia, Victoria Battle of Eastman, Georgia, Teresa (George) Bray of Hawkinsville, Georgia, Charles (Lois) Hendricks of McRae, Georgia, James (Joyce) Battle of
Rhine, Georgia, and Sam (late Ida) Battle, and a host of nieces, nephews and an aunt, Christine Murray.
